“The great writer of era”
On September 28, in the state reserve-museum named after Abai “Zhidebay-Borili”, a book exhibition “Great writer of the era ” was held, dedicated to the birthday of the writer, scientist, dramatist Auezov.
Having written about the life and work of Abai, the writer introduced the encyclopedia of the life of the Kazakh people into world literature.
Contemporary Kazakh prose has reached the peak of the world literary classics with M. Auezov’s epic «The path of Abai».
In the library of the museum there is an epic novel «The path of Abai», published in different years, and translations of this work into foreign languages, multivolume studies, and works published in the series “Library of the Abai Museum”.
Along with the works and research of M. Auezov, the works of Z. Kabdolov, Z. Akhmetov, A. Nurkatov and other writers took part in the exhibition. In addition, the book exhibition included the series “Libraries of the Abay Museum”, “Ash Arystary-Mukhtar Kuezov Museum”, “House-Museum of Mukhtar Auezov”, “Kokserek”, the work of G. Zulkharov “Auezov and Ayagoz”, A. Auezov “Young Mukhtar ”and valuable photographs that provide information about the life and social activities of the writer.
