Lecture on “Abai’s Translations” Held

On April 24, a meaningful lecture dedicated to the topic of translations in the works of the great thinker Abai Kunanbayuly was held at the Abai Studies Center of the Abai Museum.
The lecture was delivered by the museum’s research associate Dilnaz Galymbekkyzy, who spoke about the distinctive features of Abai’s translations from Russian and world literature and their importance in Kazakh spirituality. Special attention was given to how the poet elevated national literature to a new level through his translations of works by Mikhail Lermontov and Alexander Pushkin.
During the lecture, participants received valuable information about the artistic qualities and educational significance of Abai’s translations and exchanged their views on the topic.
