The opening of the exhibition «Tarihi Turkistan” of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” took place in the Abai Museum.

This exhibition was created based on numismatic materials from the museum’s funds, characteristic of the III-XVIII centuries. In addition, there is extensive information in the medieval history of Kazakhstan, including historical and geographical zones that occupy a special place in the formation and development of the statehood of the Kazakh people.

The director of the Abai Museum, academician, literary critic-philosopher, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Turdykul Kasenuly expressed gratitude to the museum specialist from sacred Turkestan Berik Baibolov, presented a letter of thanks to the director of the museum Maulen Zharylkasynovich and presented the printed products of the Abai Museum.

Residents and representatives of the intelligentsia of the city of Semey, who took part in the opening of the exhibition “Tarihi Turkistan”, listened to an excursion presented by an employee of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan”.
