Director of the State Historical, Cultural and Literary Memorial Reserve-Museum of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” Turdykul Shanbai and Deputy for Administrative and Economic Work Nurlan Raistanov on the eve of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Center of the Abai district of the village of Karaul.

The results of joint work last year were discussed at the reception of the akim of the Abai district Nurzhan Abdikarimov.

In 2021, the 160th anniversary of Kokbai Zhanataiuly, the 120th anniversary of Shakir Abenov was held by the Abai Museum together with the Abai district. With respect to the akim of the Abai district, Nurzhan Orazbekovich, for the great support of these and other cultural events, the head of the museum, Turdykul Kasenuly, presented the Abai medal. Also, the mayor of the village of Bi ata Darkhan Amangeldin was awarded the Abai medal, the head of housing and communal services of the Abai district Syrym Rakhimzhanov and the farm employee Gayyraisov were awarded “Letters of Thanks”.

Akim of the Abai district Nurzhan Orazbekovich thanked and wished Turdykul Kasenuly creative success.

The parties discussed cultural events to be held next year. The head of the museum Turdykul Shanbai noted that next year the 125th anniversary of the classic of Kazakh literature Mukhtar Auezov is coming, the attention of the world will be focused on Alash-Semey, Borili and told about the planned cultural and literary events.

It was noted at the meeting that next year it is necessary to jointly discuss the upcoming cultural events and come to a common decision.
