Nauryz holiday was celebrated in the Abai museum
The State Museum-Reserve of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an ethnocultural event on the theme “Nauryznama-bereke bastauy”, dedicated to the celebration of the great holiday of Nauryz.
Within the framework of the event, national games of the Kazakh people were organized in such types of games as togyzkumalak, tug of war, arm wrestling, lifting a kettlebell stone, asyk atu, the center of the national direction “Saruar” and educational events.
In addition, nauryz kozhe was presented to the citizens and guests of the museum on the square of the Abai Museum.
The ethnocultural event “Nauryznama-bereke bastauy” was attended by intellectuals, scientists and students, citizens and other guests.
According to the results of the togyzkumalak competition, Smagulova Aigerim took 1st place, Serikova Aizere took 2nd place, Makhmutovna Ayazhan took 3rd place. In the competition “Lifting a kettlebell stone” 1st place to Imanbayev Aidar, 2nd place to Ulasilov Mukhit, 3rd place to Serikbayev Aidos.
Zhumakhanov Nurlan, who competed in arm wrestling, took 1st place, Seken Damir-2nd place, Ertis Abylai-3rd place. Among the eight teams participating in the tug of war, the Sarbaz team shared 1st place and the Museum’s Strongmen team took 2nd place. The winners and prize-winners received valuable prizes from the organizers.
In the “Koi Koteru” competition, which attracted the special attention of citizens and guests of the museum, Kushkinbayev Meir became the winner, and other participants who distinguished themselves in this competition were awarded prizes awarded by the Abai Museum.
