Kokbai’s heritage within the framework of independence
Today in the State Museum-Reserve of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” the republican scientific-practical conference “Kokbai Zhanataiuly murasy tauelsizdik tanymy ayasynda” dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Kokbai Zhanataiuly took place.
Scientists from different regions of the country, employees of schools and universities, museum workers and Kokbai’s descendant Zhanataiuly Amangeldy Kokbaev took part in the conference.
During the republican conference, Doctor of Philology, Professor A. Espenbetov made reports on the following topics: “Kokbai-Uly Abaidyn shakirti”, Director of the Research Institute “Academy of Abai” Zh. Aubakir “Ult ruhaniyatyndagy Kokbai daralygy” Amrenov “K. Zhanataiuly zhane Abdu-l-kagir al-Zhurzhani: Arab grammatikasy museleleri”, teacher-esearcher of the secondary school named after Kokbai “Kokbai okulary: akyn shygarmashylykynyn nasikhattaluy”. Also, a descendant of the poet A. Akhmetbekuly thanked the staff of the museum for all the events held on the eve of the anniversary.
At the end of the event, the director of the Abai Museum T. Shanbai in his report on the topic “Abai zhane Kokbai: danalyk pen daralyktyk undestigi (madeni-falsapalyk taldau)” noted that the contribution of Kokbai Zhanataiuly to the achievement of the true heritage of the wisdom of Abai is invaluable. This is a very urgent topic that requires a special, final study, – he said and presented the book of the work “Kokbai Zhanataiuly Research, Memories”, prepared and published by the museum staff.
