Exhibition «The World of Auezov in Fine Arts» Opens at Zhidebai-Borili Museum-Reserve
On September 28, at the State Historical, Cultural and Literary-Memorial Museum-Reserve «Zhidebai-Borili», an exhibition titled «The World of Auezov in Fine Arts» was organized to mark the birthday of the great writer M. Auezov.
The exhibition featured works of artists inspired by Auezov’s creativity. Among them were G. Ismailova’s portrait «M. Auezov», I. Isabayev’s «M. Auezov. The Path of Abai», «Mukhtar» by M. Kalimov, «Auezov Square» by A. Kauharov, «Kokserek» by E. Murumbaev, a piece from the series «M. Auezov» by A. Bukharbaev, «Young Mukhtar» by G. Bekberdinova, a graphic work «Mukhtar Auezov» by M. Qisamedinov, as well as works by local artists G. Makarov, N. Otepbaev, and T. Baigaliev.
The exhibition was viewed by museum visitors and participants of the contest «Mukhtar’s Legacy — People’s Treasure.»
