Lecture on “Abai’s Kuy Compositions” Held
A lecture titled “Abai’s Kuy Compositions” was held for students of Shakarim University at the Abai State Historical-Cultural and Literary-Memorial Museum-Reserve «Zhidebai-Borili».
During the lecture, participants were introduced to the role of Abai Kunanbayuly in the art of kuy, his contribution to Kazakh musical culture, and the distinctive features of his musical works. Students also received informative insights into Abai’s musical heritage and its significance in national art and culture.
The purpose of the event was to promote Abai’s legacy among young people and increase interest in traditional national music.
