The Abai State Museum-Reserve “Zhidebay-Borili” opened the exhibition
The Abai State Museum-Reserve “Zhidebay-Borili” opened the exhibition “If You Have a Beloved Son…”, dedicated to the anniversaries of Abai Kunanbayev’s descendants and relatives.
During the ceremonial event, speakers shared insights into the lives and creative contributions of Abai’s descendants, and representatives of the poet’s family addressed the audience. The exhibition was attended by members of the intellectual community of Semey, the administrative center of the Abai Region, cultural institution staff, and students. Following the opening ceremony, guests were given a guided tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition features a letter written by Abai to his son Magauiya, the manuscript of Magauiya’s poem “Medgat-Qasym,” archival documents, memoirs, valuable artifacts from the period, and commemorative gifts from Abai’s descendants.
