The Abai State Museum-Reserve “Zhidebay-Borili” has opened the exhibition “The Breath of the Region,” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned artist and graphic designer, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, Mikhail Mikhailovich Belyaev.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote the artist’s rich creative legacy and to convey the timeless values of art through works that depict the nature of his native land, the historical image of the city of Semey, and the spiritual atmosphere of the region.
The exhibition features the artist’s paintings and graphic works created over different periods of his career. Among them are “The Abai Museum,” “Old Semey,” “Abai. The Seasons,” “After the Rain,” “Road to Vostochny,” “Karauyl Hill,” and other works. In these pieces, the artist delicately and poetically portrays the landscapes of his homeland and the streets of Semey, expressing the color and spirit of the region through a refined artistic language.
The exhibition “The Breath of the Region” allows visitors to feel the artist’s love for life and art, his devotion to his native land, and the eternal beauty of nature.
