As part of the 85th anniversary celebration of the State Historical, Cultural, and Literary-Memorial Reserve Museum of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili,” museum specialists who made significant contributions to promoting Abai’s heritage were honored.

For their successful work in the development and prosperity of the museum, veteran employees of the museum industry were especially recognized, and the museum director expressed deep gratitude to them.

Employees contributing to the spiritual and cultural development of the region were awarded with the Certificate of Honor from Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Sydykov, Letter of Gratitude from the Chairman of the Committee on Culture E. Dakenov, Letters of Appreciation from the Akim of Abai Region B. Ualiuly, the Head of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives J. Omarkhan, the Akim of Semey city A. Kozhanbayev, the Head of the Department of Culture and Language Development of Semey city M. Bakhatova, and a Letter of Appreciation from the Director of the Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” State Museum-Reserve U. Sagadiev.

Additionally, the Chairperson of the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Information Workers S. Imankulova awarded the museum veterans M. Mukhamedova, N. Omirbekova, and Zh. Baygaskina — who devoted their lives to Abai’s cause — with the medals “Veteran of the Trade Union,” “Labor Glory,” and “Best Trade Union Worker in the Field of Culture.”

In honor of the museum’s 85th anniversary, congratulatory messages were received from A. Bakhtinov, Director of the Abai Regional Theater, and A. Isabaeva, Head of the Regional Innovation and Methodological Center.

The Director of the Regional Museum of History and Local Lore K. Sabyrbai and the Head of the Semey City Department of Culture and Language Development M. Bakhatova personally visited to congratulate the museum. On behalf of the City Department of Culture, the museum was presented with technical equipment.
