Meeting with museum
On October 16, a meeting with the veterans of the museum and representatives of the intelligentsia of the city of Semey was held at the State Museum-Reserve of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” in honor of the Abai Museum’s founding day.
During the meeting, initiatives aimed at the development of museum affairs were discussed. Educators, scientists, and cultural and artistic figures such as Moldabek Zhanbolatuly, Zeynolla Tokayev, Arap Espenbetov, Kusmilia Nurkasym, Amantai Isin, Serik Malaev, and other respected elders shared their opinions on promoting Abai’s legacy and the development of the Abai Museum.
The veteran staff members Kulbieke Zhanabilovna, Marzhan Birzhanovna, Umitkaisha Akhmetkalievna, Raigul Ibraevna, Umitkanym Imanbaevna, Rysbieke Izatovna, and Sholpan Slamgalievna, who contributed to the development of the Abai Museum and dedicated their conscious lives to advancing museum affairs, shared warm memories of the researchers and scholars who worked at the museum.
