The mobile exhibition “Land of the Greats” organized as part of the V World Nomad Games
As part of the V World Nomad Games, a mobile exhibition from the Abai Museum titled “Land of the Greats” was presented in the exhibition pavilion of the Abai region’s ethnovillage. During the exhibition, information was provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English to guests from different parts of the country and abroad.
The exhibition showcased about 40 artifacts from the museum’s collection related to Abai, Shakarim, and Mukhtar Auezov. The exhibition generated significant interest among visitors from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as guests from both near and far abroad. Particular attention was given to personal belongings of Abai and the saddle of his wife, Aigerim, which craftsmen and visitors eagerly examined while listening to the guides.
The exhibition was attended by cultural figures, residents of Astana, locals, and numerous foreign guests. Over the course of the week, the legacy of Abai, Shakarim, and Mukhtar was widely popularized in the heart of the capital, sparking great interest among the public and contributing to the dissemination of their remarkable heritage.
