“MUKHTAR’S LEGACY – TREASURE OF HUMANITY”
REGIONAL KNOWLEDGE COMPETITION HELD

On September 27, a regional knowledge competition titled “Mukhtar’s Legacy – Treasure of Humanity” took place at the Abai State Museum-Reserve “Zhidebai-Borili,” dedicated to the birthday of the classic Kazakh writer and great scholar M.O. Auezov.

The main goal of this traditional competition is to instill interest in the life and creative world of the classic writer and scholar Mukhtar Auezov in the minds of the younger generation, encouraging them to deeply explore all aspects of his legacy and widely promote his works.

A total of 45 contestants participated, all of them students from grades 8-10 from city and suburban schools. Based on the competition results, the winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.

1st place – Guldana Shorabaeva (Secondary School №31);
2nd place – Amira Askarova (Multidisciplinary Gymnasium named after Shakarim №5), Nurali Anwar (Gymnasium №6);
3rd place – Aizere Serikzhan (Boarding School №3), Olzhas Kabdylkhan (Secondary School №16 named after Toleubay Amanov), Aruna Mersalikova (Secondary School №22).

Certificates of appreciation were awarded to: Nurina Sagatova (Secondary School №27), Makhfuze Dulatova (Secondary School №47), Birganim Toleubekova (Nazarbayev Intellectual School), Moldir Amantaeva (Secondary School №36).

The “Mukhtar’s Legacy – Treasure of Humanity” competition will continue to be held annually.
