Opening of the exhibition “Abai and Pushkin”
In the State Museum-Reserve “Zhidebai-Borili” of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan On June 6 took place the opening of the exhibition “Abai and Pushkin”, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of the poet A. S. Pushkin.
The director of the museum-reserve Abai U. Sagadiev, Acting director of the Center for Public Accord-the regional House of Friendship B. Tlebalganovna, Chairman of the Council of Veterans Z. Tokaev made welcoming remarks to the exhibition. The image of Abai Kunanbayev was played by the actor of the Abai Theater A. Tasymbetov, Alexander Pushkin — the artist of the Youth Theater “Dariga-ai” A. Nartov.
Singer of the Philharmonic named after A. Kashaubaev Zh. Tazhiev performed “Tatiana’s Song”, and the students of the M. Tolebaev Music School played kui.
The exhibition was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia of the city of Semey, employees of the regional House of Friendship and cultural institutions-the Center for Social Harmony, students who got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the life and work of A. S. Pushkin.
