Trip to Beskaragai
Director of the State Museum-Reserve of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” T. Shanbai and Deputy Akim for Administrative and Economic Work N.Raistanov visited Beskaragai district on the eve of the celebration of Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Visiting Beskaragai by the heads of the Abai Museum has its own significance.
Despite the fact that in 2020 humanity was experiencing such difficult conditions as a pandemic, there were many joys in Kazakhstan that the world experienced. Under the direct leadership of the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, significant funds were allocated to the Abai district and the State reserve-museum of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili”, many historical, cultural and social objects were built, landscaped and reconstructed. The updated and revived Abai Museum was opened by the President of the country.
The akim of the Abai district of that period, Zh. Borashuly, also provided great support in the work of the Republican Museum of Abai. The museum and the district worked day and night and prepared with honor for the anniversary of Abai. He was seen by people, visiting guests and thanked.
Zh. Baysabyrov, who today works with honor as akim of Beskaragai district, the museum management specifically addressed him and congratulated him on the upcoming holiday. Hakim expressed gratitude to the museum for its support in preparing for the anniversary of Abai and fastened the “Abai Medal” on Zharkynbek Borashuly’s chest.
The akim of the district expressed special gratitude and said that in the future he would not lose touch with the Abai Museum and offered to jointly hold cultural events.
In turn, the director of the Abai Museum, the philosopher-literary critic Turdykul Kasenuly noted that he supports this initiative and concluded that the popularization of the heritage of Hakim Abai is a responsible task for all of us.
