The State Museum-Reserve of Abai “ZHidebai-Borili” in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the country, as well as the 120th anniversary of the poet, composer Shakir Abenuly held the grand opening of the Abai Museum in the village of Kundyzdy, Abai district.

The director of the Abai Museum T.SHanbai made a welcoming speech. Then the akim of the Abai district N.Abdikarimov and a descendant of Akyn S. Shakirovna continued. In general, the Abai Museum, having a great heritage and personality left by akyn Shakir Abenovich, widely represents the poet. For example, this year in the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the capital Nur-Sultan, an exhibition “SHyngystaudyn bir shyny” was opened for Shakir Aksakal and a round table dedicated to the poet was organized. The presentation of the II-volume book “the works of Shakir Abenuly” was also held at the solemn meeting.

The museum works for the benefit of the public.
