Today, the State Museum-Reserve of Abai “Zhidebai-Borili” organized a traveling exhibition in “Arkashan Umytylmaska” in honor of the opening of the Museum of Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly at the Shakarim gymnasium in the city of Karaganda.

The exhibition presents valuable exhibits, documents, archival data and books related to the life and work of the Kazakh classic poet, thinker, composer Shakarim Kudaiberdiev.

The solemn event was attended by the director of the Abai Museum T.Shanbai, deputy director for scientific work M. Kairambayeva, scholar from Almaty, doctor of philological sciences, professor B. Abdigaziuly, heads of education departments of the Karaganda region and the city, teachers. The event continued with a round table on the topic: “Shakarim – shalgykan agyl-parasattyk agyny, palsapashyl, oishyl kalamger.” In addition, teachers and students listened to the scientists’ speeches through the Zoom platform, and a free-form dialogue took place.

During the event, the director of the museum T. Shanbai spoke about his research on Shakarim, presented the school director A. Nurabaevna with a letter of gratitude, presented a number of books to the school museum and solemnly presented the “Abai” medal. Then the deputy director M. Kairambayeva gave brief information on the museum fund and noted that the merit of museum specialists lies in the collection of valuable data concerning the poet.

At the end of the event, the school staff, the participating scientists expressed special gratitude to the museum staff and expressed their desire to be in creative contact.
